Except this isn’t medicine – well not the pills and syrup – but music that heals soul! Meet L’ORM, a musician based in Kinshasa in the DR Congo.

L’ORM’s new single Abuki Dance has rumba, RnB and afro-beat influences. The diverse musician has written 11 songs to date.

Abuki Dance was a taste of more great music to come as he’s working on a series of singles that promise to take you on that warm, colourful and happy journey soon. Fans can expect to hear afro pop and afro beat from this multi-talented musician.

When L’ORM is not playing in big concerts and festivals in his hometown of Lubumbashi or in studio, he coaches youth involved in music. What sets him apart from other artists is the ability of his sweet voice to evolve to other genres of music without losing his originality.

The talented artists started making melodies in 2011. He has the full backing of his friends and family who sponsored his first studio session. L’ORM describes his music as “therapy against the ills of society.” In 2019, he signed to Roddi for management and publishing.
